PARADISE

Following the success of our previous shows – ED ELLI A ME at the University Library of Fiolstræde and PURGATORY – The 7 Deadly Sins at Brønshøj Water Tower, which together attracted over 700 enthusiastic attendees, we presented the final chapter of Dante’s Divine Comedy trilogy: PARADISE. This immersive theatrical experience was scheduled for October 10, 2025  at the Planetarium, as part of Copenhagen Culture Night, where over 6.000 thousands visitors have attended the event.
Dante, our homeless wanderer, has already passed through the doors of Inferno and Purgatory. Now, his journey continues through the Nine Heavens of Paradise. His celestial path culminates inside the Dome, symbolising the Empyrean—the place of divine presence—supported by Beatrice and Saint Bernard. Along the way, the audience will encounter the “starkeepers” and the angels who guide them through the Nine Heavens—each representing a virtue or spiritual ideal, such as love, justice, wisdom, and faith.
This new total theatre show brings Dante Alighieri’s work closer to today’s audience, while celebrating the timeless power of his literature. A soul-stirring journey through stars, planets, performance, dance and opera.
